Latest Milky Way shot
I’ve been chasing a solid Milky Way photo for a while—planning trips, then having to cancel them. Astrophotography is all about timing. There are only a handful of nights each month with the right conditions, and even then, weather, light pollution, or other issues can ruin the shot.
This one from last weekend was a win despite the challenges. A bright half moon was lighting up the landscape, but the Milky Way still cut through beautifully.
