Island Park is my favorite place to shoot the Milky Way

I love capturing the stars in all their glory. Here's one I shot back in 2024 while experimenting with a new technique—I'm really pleased with how it turned out. From there, I leveled up to Milky Way panoramas, and I've shared a couple of those here already. It means spending long hours outside in the dark (and sometimes the biting cold), but the results have been worth it. That said, I'm always on the hunt for ways to improve. I've snagged some new gear recently, but haven't had a chance to test it out yet—fingers crossed for soon! By the way, Milky Way season is in full swing. Happy shooting, everyone!
