Shooting stars….
Shooting stars are a lot harder to capture than most people think.
We had a perfect new moon on July 14, and the Perseids have been active since July 17 — they’ll peak at around 84 meteors per hour on August 13. Unfortunately, we’ve had nothing but rainy and cloudy skies the whole time I’ve been trying. I couldn’t even see all the planets this morning. Hope you could see it from where you were.
After four shoots, I have almost nothing to show for it. Only one image was even worth editing.
Tonight I’m sharing a shot of the Ogden Temple under what was supposed to be a full moon. As you can see, the moon was completely hidden by clouds… so I took the photo anyway.
