Costa Rica
Just got back from an amazing trip to Costa Rica—we loved every minute of it and would highly recommend it!
Here are some of my favorite photos from the adventure. I managed to capture a shot of the Milky Way, which wasn’t easy! The light pollution was surprisingly similar to back home, but I learned something cool: down in the Southern Hemisphere, the Milky Way stretches much more horizontally across the sky than the vertical arcs we usually see up north.
We also saw tons of incredible wildlife—monkeys, sloths, and toucans everywhere. So cool! The architecture in the capital, San José, was really interesting too. And the sunsets on the Pacific coast? Absolutely stunning.
I took way more photos than I can share here—maybe I’ll post another batch soon!
